The KY Cat Haven was created in August, 2002, to provide a cageless, volunteer-based cat care facility in Central Kentucky. Our mission is to provide a safe, caring environment to homeless and injured cats until they are placed in a permanent and loving home. We require that all cats in our care be altered to prevent any more unwanted litters and we support the spaying/neutering of all cats through community education efforts. Our volunteer staff has over 40 years of combined experience in shelter work, veterinary medicine, and feral cat management. We are true cat lovers and responsible caretakers.
